Connections are an important aspect of our lives. As a self-appointed introvert, I silently craved for a genuine human interaction and the feeling of not being judged by others. So was I not an introvert? Maybe I was or still am. The difference now is I’ve learned to enjoy my own company just as much as I value the presence of others. Now, solitude does not mean loneliness. It is about feeling fulfilled and happy without having to rely on others. Sort of like sacred solitude? It is just you amidst the noise around you. I have tried and still want to try out many things to enjoy my own company more. It might be helpful for you, too. Do a task slowly on purpose! I used to have this habit when I got too excited to do something. I overthink the ways to do it. And when the day comes, I do it in a hurry as I don't want to miss out on everything.
